Artist/painter
In 2008, I returned to Austria to follow up on the work started with "Felsensicht" in 2004.
The aim was to be bigger and bolder with the work, and so I produced paintings on a much larger scale.
The title of the resulting show: Berg - Geist = Mountain - Spirit was deliberately chosen - and again in collaboration with local artist and sculptor Mario Gasser, we tried to give expression to the local mythology and spirit of the land.
The residency and exhibition was made possible with a grant from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, NYC, New York, USA.
