Artist/painter
Summer in the Central Australian desert was a challenge for me. I stayed there for 2 months over December and January 2008/09, when it is hottest and I tried in earnest if I could permanently base myself in Alice Springs. I couldn't. It was just too hot. But i managed to come away with some paintings, inspired by the land as always and the rain storms that sweep through during that time.
far away so close was exhibited in Melbourne in 2009.
